Mechanical Heads for Turkey

So I did some research the other day and found out that mechanical broad heads are legal for turkey hunting in Washington. I double checked this by calling WDFW.

You could use a target arrow for a head shot on a turkey.

That's very true. I myself am partial to Bullheads but I thought it was good info to anyone that is hard up to use mechanicals in Washington.

I could not get the Bullheads to fly correct out of my Xbow so have gone to Magnus. The Magnus fly as if it is a field tip.

All I want to do is like that quote from the movie Alice in Wonderland ~ "Off with their heads!"

And I do carry one mechanical - a Shwacker., just in case I need it.

Yeah I went with the 4 vane arrows. Some use their arrows with 3 vanes but I read that some have problems with consistency and Magnus anyway recommends 4 vane.

I just hope that since Washington is letting us use mechanicals on turkeys that big game is around the corner hopefully.
