In Theroy? I happened to endup with a 1st rifle tag for 511. I put it in to try to get a point as first choice. Amazing that I got a bull 1st rifle. That is why I hope there will be at least a legal bull walking around somewhere up there. all I ever see are 2 spikes and COWsss...

Im heading for 11mile tomorrow.. Get some canoe fishing and camping with my son. still have to fix that damn patio. So next weekend I will do some walking/hiking 511.

So how was it this weekend, see anything? The list of honey-do grew for me so I didn't get the chance to make it.

But doing the work is the idea that hopefully it pays off.

Was out yesterday. in 511. all looks good, bear tracks everywhere and Elk and deer rubs in my usual spots. A lot of big bear tracks. I am needing to get a few cheap cameras so I can monitor the actual animals going thru there.

Default A whole lot of nothing

I got...nothing. Ever have any luck finding a place to coyote hunt around the Springs? I've gone up into the forest the last three days in a row but haven't been able to call anything in. Lots of tracks in the snow, but where they hide, I don't know.

Thumbs up

no i have not found a place? if you find one out east near Rama and near hugo I have been so busy and working 12 hours days for a end of year qtr. http://www.huntingnet.com/forum/upfi...ley/violin.gif.
Out east has them and huge jackl rabbits. you should be able to find a landowner with a problem with both. I can go with you if you want.. I also been rebuilding a engine so have not had a lot of free time.

You might want to try Pueblo Reservoir SWA:

With a little patience you can bring them in off the ranches to the south and west of the SWA.

I was at Turkey Track Ranch STL last weekend and there are a lot of rabbits out there:
