Resurrecting the channel... Looking at hunting 511 again this year. it makes it harder but much more fun. dodging everyone on the trails and moving deeper into the forest.

Default Bowhunting Unit 581

I got an archery tag from 581 and was wondering if anyone knows where to look for deer. I have heard of some good bucks in the 11 mile canyon area and seen some deer in Mueller. I have seen some small elk herds past Lake George. I was wondering if anyone has hunted the Puma Hills since it is farther from roads. For those deer hunting 511 get as close to the neighborhoods as possible huge 5x5 deer are all over the town.

Smile Hunting the Antelope

Is anyone able to show me the ropes on pronghorn in 2020? I need someone to go hunting with and can locate the animals. I have tried on my own but failed terribly. Not sure what hunting sector/ or even where to get the license for. I am in colorado springs and would not mind learning. I think I am going to skip ELK this year. I am using either Black powder .50/30.06 rifle.
