Global Warming Hits SW Montana

This past weekend was an almost constant drizzly rain, with clouds almost down to the valley floor. It looked more like September than August.

This morning most of the clouds have moved out, and the REAL CAUSE OF GLOBAL WARMING, that big ball of fire in the sky that we call the Sun is shining on the NEW WHITE TOPS of the mountains around Bozeman.

It's rained here all summer. Just looks like summer to me. It's the joy of living at 8000ft in the Rockies.

Here in NE Montana we had locally over 5" of rain over the weekend, with reports of upwards of 8". Temps were in the low 50's all weekend. If the dog days of summer are like this, what does January hold?
Will be nice not having to worry about fire danger for the elk and deer opener though!

Had some 'warming' just west of Denver last night. SNOW on Mt Evans. Kinda think it's going to be a early winter....
