Nor. Cal. deer?
 

Anyone from the Bay Area? Me and my hunting partner are transplants from Washington and want to chase some deer while were here. We are both mainly elk hunters in Washington but have hunted Blacktail most our lives. We are both pretty clueless on where to head from the bay area to start scouting for deer. We both hunt moder rifle. I don' t want any secret spots or anything, just don' t know where the legal GMU' s are here and where any promising areas are. Any help would be great.

When I was there I usually hunted the Bs and Ds zone. I usually shot squirrels.:D Seriously, there are deers too. Good luck.
