Montana public elk hunting?
Hi I got drawn for elk and deer again for my third year in a row
Well anyways I hunt around ennis and virginia city. Well I have killed a couple smaller bulls but would really like to kill a nice bull. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would appreciate it If you could give me just a little in-sight on where the big bulls may be.

You got to be kidding right?
If you want to kill a big bull don' t shoot a small one.
If you really want a wall hanger a 350-class or better bull? Call the Vermejo Park Ranch. The Vermejo ranch is in Raton, New Mexico. This is a huge ranch that has tons of private land to hunt. This is not a " canned hunt" this is a wide open ranch that has some huge bulls.
You can book a hunt there for the low price of $8,500. That ain' t no typo either. They are proud of there elk. But they do grow some monsters.
