Wyo Antelope
Hi Dave,
I've hunted 47, 50, and 72 for pronghorn the past few years. 50 is almost 100% and 72 is over 50% with no points (non-resident). Not a lot of huge bucks, but animals everywhere. Like a couple of the previous posts said, skip the first week or two of the hunt, get your boots out walkin', and be patient. I'm now completely hooked on goat hunting. You'll have a great time, especially if you're not expecting to shoot an 80" buck. But they have by far the best vision of any animal you'll ever hunt. They'll spot the slightest movement, even from 300-500 yards. Be very careful going over ridges. And practice your long range (300+ yards) shooting. I predict this will not be your last trip to Wyoming.

Was in WY for the first time on Thursday. We were heading out to meet a buddy in Eastern CO to shoot some prairie dogs but drove up to the Chugwater area on Thursday to get in a day shooting there.
We hiked in about 3/4 mile (varmint rifles get really heavy pretty quickly) and came up on three really nice (to me anyway) Pronghorn bucks.
Got me really excited for the draw.
