Planning a predator hunt out west

My hunting partner and I are looking into a predator trip out west. We want a self guided trip on public ground. We are considering Texas, Arizona and New Mexico. The Gila wilderness in New Mexico is atop the list right now. Can anyone share any information on this area? This would be a first for both of us so we are looking for a little advice based on first hand experience. Also open to any other areas in the states listed. Trip will fall between Nov 1st and sometime in January based on both of our deer hunting schedules here in Ohio. We will want to target coyotes, fox and definitely bobcats. So what are our best options? Thanks for the help.

Montana might be a good place for you guys to look at too. There is no season or limits on coyotes and red fox, you can shoot them all year long at no cost other then the price of ammo...lol. Bobcat is considered a furbearing animal here, so there is a season and a tag is required to trap or hunt them. I don't so i can'ttell you the season or the cost, but you should be able to find that on the Montana FWP web site.
Hope this helps.

New Mexico is a great place...I would stay out of the Gila Wilderness because there are no roads in the wilderness...not so good for predator hunting. There is lots of area all around that offers great hunting. Good Luck
