2nd or 3rd season in meeker

Any advice on hunting third season compared to second in meeker colorado on a non-guided hunting trip?

Snow can be a huge factor. Have hunted both seasons in that general area. Just really depends on snow. Seen it where animals are down low. Other seasons they are high.

Elk I assume? or deer?
