Any one having any success this fall? I'm jonesin to get back out and fill my deer tags. Post up pics of your fresh kills. I can live vicariously through you till I warm the barrel.

I went out Saturday morning for a bit, was going to hunt some huns and pheasants and this guy was out about 390 yards. Took him with some 130 gr. handloads out of my '06. I wanted to wait until around Thanksgiving when the bigger bucks come out of the hills, but the opportunity was there, and I wanted to take a management buck off the ranch. 203 lbs according to the scale.

Quite respectable buck. I'd throw lead at it. Closest thing I've come to was a moose at about three feet on my four wheeler while heading back to the pickup after a good hunt. Met him on a blind corner. Not sure who was more surprised. Definately needed to change my shorts after that one.

Filled my doe muley tag yesterday, now just have two whitetail does tags to fill, then I can concentrate on ducks and geese for next several weeks!
