Colorado Area 10 info needed
 

Hey y' all,
Dad and I drew archery tags for Area #10 in NW Colorado this year. Does anybody have any information about the area they' d care to share??

Becareful of Dinosaur national mounument land! Also be sure to have a private property map. There are some ranches in the area that are not real friendly when it comes to trespassing. But I guess nobody would be. I have hunted that area for many years, I am from Rangely so it is home ground basically. I usually hunt the late season though. My wife drew a late season cow tag there this year. If you have any specific questions that I can answer I will try my best.

For Deer. Most hunters are successful in the Blue Mountain area including Moosehead Mountain Buckwater Ridge Round Top Johnson Draw and Badger Flats. Other good areas with good populations are Skull Creek and Wolf Creek The Deer rut from mid-November through early Decmber

For Elk. Blue Mountain including Bear Valley and Wasson Draw. Bulls bugle from late August through early October
