Oregon and Washington Elk
 

My name is Angie and I just moved to the great Pacific Northwest. I'm living in Portland, Oregon and I'm very interested in what it would take to get my hands in some good elk hunting, preferably in the cascades in Washington.
I've been trying to look up information but I can't seem to find any websites thatare that informational. Not for my specific region anyway.

I live down in Grants Pass. I have a heard of about 45 elk that pass through some areas that I can hunt, but they never seemed to be here during the season! I've never hunted Wasington, so I cant tell you anything about that.

if you live in portland, i would go to the wind river unit outside of stevenson and hunt there during the late muzzleloader season.
