Spent ten yrs in South GA myself workin for a great Kaolin company. I have some good tips on units to put in for here in CO that have a lotta mulies. Drawin a tag however can be a bit iffy. Usually I get mine off the leftover leftover list. Am on my way to GA on Nov 19 for ten days in Savannah, Tennille, McIntyre, Irwinton, Macon, and Atlanta. Email me for my fone number and we'll talk if you want.I cant get yaa tag or a deer but I can give you the benefit of 7 yrs of CO experiences.

Hmmm I never got that email.. I was in Savannah and Maconga for 9 days too over Thanksgiving. Would have been nice to meet up. Iwas invited to come back to Midga next fall to hunt in Wilkinson and Johnson counties for deer, maybe we can meet up then.

NM has no pref pts....so by all means put in for their best units! you may get lucky and be able to hunt world class mulies your 1st year applying.

CO has great muleys, best units for rifle will take some time to build enough pts, but some 2nd choice draws, or if you're willing to not go after awesome ones, you can draw sooner.

Easter MT has tons....course I think the buck/doe ratio is like 1/50. No monsters, but you should be able to shoot a decent muley.

Check online at the state depts as to each states regs. But off the top of my head if I were you those would be my options...

Utah has some great units but you need to start building points and trying your luck til you draw.

Co. can be a great palce for big mulies. The tags, as stated can be tricky. Some zones are much harder to draw than others but there is some really good zones that an archery tag should be easier to get. Do some home work and it should pan out nicely. If you plan right you may be able to get an arcery tag and hunt right into muzzle loader season. usually there are good areas that will produce both elk and deer. good luck...
