Snow and antelope
My son and I are leaving Sat. morning for NE Wyoming to hunt antelope. My question is, with this winter storm coming and temps in the 30's, will that affect the hunt or will they just be out playing in the snow? Funny the biologist I talked to said it is always 60 - 80 degrees and never rains during antelope season.

RE: Snow and antelope
It shouldnt really matter to much. They might not be moving as much since they wont need to water as frequently but you still shouldnt have to much ofa problem finding some goats.

RE: Snow and antelope
The biologist you talked to either A. is very young and naive or B. is an idiot.

RE: Snow and antelope
Well, they werethere, It took 2 days to fill our tags counting running to town twice to buy my son some doe tags to occupy us. They really have to be the dumbest animal I have ever hunted. They didn't seem to be scared of anything. We had about 8 inches of snow and one 12 degree morning.
