I got skunked this year, but my better half got a disabled "any deer" tag for Mission unit that we will have 3 days to fill when Elk season opens, so she can be picky for the regular deer season.
1 pt Deer...... 8 pts Moose......... 12 pts Elk

We got skunked on our group application for archery elk in Toutle.. 6 elk points for me. You must be trying for a tough draw to have 12.

Well my step dad and I got lucky this year.We drew Peaches Ridge for the early season elk and entiat B for late archey deer.It only took 8 points for elk and 5 for deer but hopefully the wait has been worth it.Any advice on the Peaches tag would be awesome,thanks guys!

I just built up points in all the rest, except for deer. My buddy and I were selected for GMU 127/Mica Peak for a 2nd, antlerless whitetail deer. I'm thinking I should either pound on doors prior to opening weekend, or I should buy the $40 tresspass permit from Inland Empire Paper Company. Anybody used them before? Good lands? Some closed roads to hike into? Thanks.
