HEY ALL!!!!!!
WELL SLEE AND I WENT TROMPING THROUGH THE SNOW WE SAW SOME GOOD SIZED SCRAPES AND RUBS AND A FEW SETS OF TRACKS BUT IF YOU WANT A TURKEY SAFEWAY WAS THE TICKET TODAY. WE HAD A GOOD TIME BUT NOT THE SMALLEST SIGN OF GOBBLERS. WE GOT SOME INFO FROM A LOCAL BUT DIDNT HAVE MUCH TIME TO FOLLOW UP ANY OF THEM, BUT WE ARE TURKEY HUNTERS AND WILL NEVER GIVE UP!!! SO WAYNE WERE ALL COMING TO YOUR PLACE TO GO HUNTING THIS YEAR JUST KIDDING WELL WASH WELCOME TO THE BOARD SEND ME A E-MAIL AND WELL GET TOGETHER SOME TIME. SAFE SCOUTING

Well, Gordo84 and I got a good workout climbing those snowy roads this morning. We didn't see hide nor hair, wait feathers, of a single turkey. I did realize just how out of shape I've gotten since bow season ended. Man it sure was great to get out there and look around though. Nothing like a walk in the snow in timber to soothe the soul. I sure would have liked to find birds though. As Gordo84 said, we did come away with some real good leads from a local sporting goods store owner who hunts turkeys in the area. He even drew the spots on a map, right after I bought it from him. I guess you gotta do what you gotta do.<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

gordo, good to see you posting a bit. no good with you and slee, thats too bad, they will be there. like i told you before, the softball fields on base are the place to be.

WELL TO TRY AND ANSWER ALL OF YOUR QUESTIONS WASH NASCAR AND I BOTH WORK TOGHETHER ON BASE AND YES WE ARE MIL NOT CIV BUT NIETHER OF US LIVE THERE. TO EXPLAIN THE ADDRESSES WE ARE BOTH IN LITTLE OFFICES AND WE ARE SO OVERWHELMED WITH WORK THAT WE ARE ON THE NET ALL DAY EVERYDAY. YOU JUST HAVE TO ASK YOURSELF SOMETIMES WHICH IS MORE IMPORTANT WORK OR HUNTING. BUT I DONT LIVE FAR IM IN BELFAIR AND NASCAR IS A LITTLE FURTHER. AS FAR AS GOING TO THE BANQUET ITS TONIGHT I BELEIVE, I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND DUE TO THE FACT THAT THE WIFE WANTS TO TURKEY HUNT ALSO AND I HAVE BOUGHT HER ALL HER GEAR LATLY SO IM TURKEY FINANCIALY CHALLENGED BUT I WANTED TO GO, AS FAR AS NASCAR GOES ITS FOUR LEGS OR MIGRATORY HE DOESNT CHASE TURKEYS (I THINK ITS TO MUCH OF A CHALLENGE)<img src=icon_smile_wink.gif border=0 align=middle> JUST KIDDING HE PROBABLY HAS MORE TIME IN A TREE STAND THEN I HAVE WALKING.
