New guy here. Thought I would give a hello to everyone. I look forward to seeing how everyones luck was this WE after I get back from Stevens Co. Headed over tonight to speak a lil southern english on a few calls. I hope I' ll have pics to post from this WE.

Take a kid or woman hunting to pass on the traditions. If you run into a idiot in the woods try to help educate them, to make it better for all of us.

Forced to live in Seattle:(. I think I' m about to wear out I-90 running back & forth. I' ll be over there right at 4:30am to take a nice long stroll through the woods. My GF is a hunter & I' m trying to call one in for her. The race is on now with the rest of the family from TN, AL, AR & MS to see who is going to pull it off in the shortest amount of time.

Thanks for the welcome Robb92, good luck to you as well.

Wish I could turkey hunt this year, won' t be able to tell this time next year, hopefully we' ll get stationed in Alaska, a lot easier to travel form there than it is England,

RE: ANYBODY FROM WASHINGTON STILL AROUND???

April 18th....just got back from 4 days of hunting Northeastern Washington. The weather was nasty. Very wet and rainy. The toms were not gobbling or responding to calls. I think many of the turkeys that were taken were unfortunately taken by " roadhunting" . The weather conditions made for some tough hunting. I believe the hot mating action between the toms and hens has not yet begun. It' s too cold and too damp. Any comments? Agree? Disagree?

We had the same thing happening in central WA.. So this morning I tried the Super aggressive approach" wearing a hole in the Power Crystal " method and that seemed to bring them out of the funk,@ least one who' s now in the freezer.;) Have you guys tried that yet? I started out with the Tree yelp and soft stuff but then figured gotta try something and this time it worked
