NM unit 15
 

Both of my kids youth drew mule deer tags for unit 15 muzzleloader. I've hunted elk there but not deer. In the areas I have hunted I have only seen a few does and no bucks. Any suggestions on where to look for muleys in that unit?

Hey im from NM too , where is 15 at again ? i bout a 24 bow tag,any info on 24, let me know where its at and i can help.

Unit 15 is in the western part of the state near Quemado. It's a fairly large unit and goes from Hwy 60 south toward Reserve and from the AZ border east toward Pietown/Magdalina. Most of the time I hunt elk in the area around Quemado lake so I haven't really checked out the rest of the unit much.

I don't know anything about 24, I never go that far south, at least not yet.

can u hunt near corona or glenwood?

Carona is on the other end of Torrance county from where I live but I have never been that far south into that area. Glenwood is further south than unit 15 goes. I'm not sure what unit it is in. The only tags we have are for unit 15 this year so I guess I can't hunt in those areas for anything that requires a tag.
