I'm new to hunting and was wondering where are some good areas to hunt in Ca ? any info is appreciated.

Okay, So. Cal. is big so I will give some central locations:

Colorado River (Blythe): Doves, quail, ducks, geese, and if you're luck deer.

Palomar Mt.: Deer & Turkey.

Wister WMA: Quail, pheasants, geese and lots of ducks.

El Centro: Doves, quail, and pheasants.

S.B.N.F.: Deer & turkey, maybe birds too.

Temecula/ Hemet: Dove & quail.

I Do not know too much about pigs but they are all over Cali, starting about Santa Barbra or the Tejon area. Look in to some stuff up there. There are plenty of outfitters for pigs that are cheap.
