New to Colorado

Hey I am new to Colorado guys and was wondering what the turkey situation is around here. I live in Woodland Park and I have found a good place to hunt near Cripple Creek and was just wondering what stage of the breeding the birds are in and what I can expect because I have never hunted anything but Rio's before. Thanks in advance for the help.

Welcome to the board! My wifes family all live in Woodland Park. We are up there about once a month. I love it up there! Sorry can't help you on the turkeys.;)

I live in the Springs just over the hill. Turkey season opens up on Sat and they should be in calling mode within the next 1 1/2 weeks. It will depend on the weather.
