Montana Drawing coming up!
 

Just 5 days until the drawing. I'm on pins and needles but I probably won't get drawn. [8D]

I applied for a Big Game combo license and the odds have been running about 60% but there was one guy posting earlier that he hadn't been drawn 2 years in a row.

Anyone know how long it takes them to post the results on the website if you've been drawn or not?

hope you get the draw, this is second year for me trying in the landowner sponsered deer draw. Never hunted in MT but want to check it out. To check your status you just type in birthdate and ALS#. If it's as slow as the hunt planner that was suppose to be out on March 30th it might be awile!!

I saw that the hunt planner was getting updated for 2007 but not sure what they are needing to update on it. Maybe some districts changed or something.

I went back and looked at the regulations and it actually says that the drawing results will be "Mid April" and refunds will be mailed at the "End of April" so it could still be awhile before I find anything out. [&:]

they were pretty fast on the refund last year. I hope I can get some tips on mullie hunting as I'm an old whitetail stalker. Most of my time has been in thick spruce and brush!! I've been climbing the White Mts. for a year trying to get in shape.

Hopefully I won't have to find out how fast they are on the refund! ;)

I grew up hunting mule deer growing up in Eastern Montana but it has been many years since then. If I get drawn I'm going to have to hit the phone or mail out some letters asking for permission to hunt in a couple spots I remember. They are sandwiched in the middle of a ton of BLM land and I don't remember any fences between the BLM land and the private land, but I want to do it right.
