Sorry Rookie, I hunt private property up in Tehama couny for pigs. last I heard Lake sanoma wasn't too bad on the back side of the lake. Hunter Liggett is pretty good or if you can get up around Willits there used to be some public land with some nice pigs.

Rookie talked to a friend today said to chek in the Cache Creek area as well,lots of pigs and turkey, turkey opens 3/31

want to be careful rookie for cache creek area as either the first week or first two weeks are f&g draw for that area....but yes there are turk's there and also few pigs (most pigs there are nocturnal due to soo much hunting pressure-but if you put in the time you will see them early morning and late evening)

I grew up on 159 acres just below the Yolla Bollys and have had great hunts on the ranch and up higher. Haven't heard anything about deer hunting down SC before! Two many two legged creatures down there!!
