Stupid Question about CO Seasons

For elk and deer, can you get tags for more than one of the rifle seasons? The DOW website is unclear.

Yes you can hunt Elk in 1st season and Deer in 3rd. Also if your asking about more than 1 elk or deer license the answer is also yes but only in some not all units. Jovan

Not a stupid question, you need a defense attorney to figure out what the DOW in colorado is trying to say. I just ask the people who work there.

Regimetal Stalker175,

You are 100% correct, lawyer speak all the way. Two years ago I didn't get drawn for deer so I got a left over tag in an area I hadn't been before. So I get a topo of the area and by reading the unit boundaries I could not figure out the east edge of the area. Off to DOW i go and ask a DOW officer. He didn't understand the boundary either, didn't feel so stupid afterall. After 20 minutes he said that should be it. I asked him to use a marker and trace the boundary. It ain't simple for sure!!!

Usually its some kind of road or county boundry, but when its not, that makes your already hard state property hunt even harder.

You can have two tags...one has to be a leftover. You can have two cow cow tags or one bull and one cow.
