Anyone hunting or have hunted elk in the southern part of Colorado?
 

I need information on an area if you can please post the areas you have hunted with an o/t/c tag.

Well close to where the fire is burning. I may have to find somewhere else to go. Any suggestions?

84 and 85 are good. i live near trinidad and hunt san isabel nat. forest in area 84. You either have to be willing to hike or take horses tho, They are in deep forest and always heading up hill.

Area 70 is west of Telluride and has a lot of federal land. Lots of elk, lots of deer (draw only, but worth it).
