Actually the tag is good from Sept. 15-30th so we should be out there right in the heat of the rut. Should be fun!

Well, we went over a few weeks ago and scouted the area. Lots of trees, lots of mountains. Steep and thick is the best way to describe it.
Got some good ideas from the locals and from a fewmembers here. Been to a calling seminar too and I think that will help. Now just a matter of time before we get out there. I'm sure my 7mm RM Tikka w/ 160g Accubond handloads will be just the ticket for them wiley elk. If anyone has any more info they can offer feel free. I've got notes from that elk calling seminar too if anyone wants to download it. It is in MS Word 2002 format but I can email you a plain text version too if you like.
