Idaho unit 10A
Bldhound and I are looking at heading to Idaho and hunting in unit 10A along the Dworshack Reservoir area for early Archery next Sept. Can anyone give me info about this area?An elk partner of ours just moved to Clarkston, so we are heading down to hunt with him in late Sept. Does this area get much pressure? What is the access like? We've talked about taking a boat up the reservoir and setting up a basecamp along the shore. If you'd rather keep info off the board, shoot me a PM? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

ORIGINAL: cravingame I've been to Idaho. There are no elk there. Stay out. One scored 336 B&C (2002)and the one I got this year is another 6x6 yet to be scored. Don't listen to this jackass. I haven't been in 10A a lot, but it's a VERY popular area and I've heardthat it gets alot of pressure. I'm sure you could find a place to go that would be good but it will probably take some scouting. There is also at least one active wolf pack nearby. |

Thanks for the reply Brutal Attack. Just thought I'd bump this up. I know there are some guys from that area on here from time to time.
