Default wooden decoys

I have never gone goose hunting before and wanted to get into it really bad. My friend is selling some canada goose decoys that are wooden sillhoutte decoys, and nice looking folding ones. The folding ones are nice and you can put the head up down or around at any angle, and you put a stick or something in the middle of it to keep it "3d". He was probably going to sell them to me for 20 - 25 dollars. I was wondering if you could tell me if I should buy the decoys, and if geese would actually come to them. I'm only 14 so I can't spend much money on decoys. So if those would bring birds into range then i'm fine with them.

thanks mark

Default RE: wooden decoys

I'd go and get the dekes. I've had geese come in to just 4 or 5 sillhouttes, so they don't work to bad. Besides for $20-25, you can't really go wrong
