WTF? Geese
 

This is kind of wierd. I live in the city and there's really no water around my house. The only water is a small creek a few blocks away and the city resevior thats about 1/2 to 1 mile away. Never seen any geese around here(my college thats about 7 miles away has a few ducks but i've never seen geese there). However the past maybe two weeks i've been hearing geese on a fairly regular basis. Only hear them late at night though, usually between about 9pm and 2am. Sometimes it just sounds like their flying around in circles out there.


Any idea what the heck they're doing and why they are only out late at night? I've NEVER seen or heard any geese around here all my life except the past two weeks like i've mentioned.

they are headin back north ....ALOT of ducks and geese migrate at night

also in the past two weeks we have have a cold front down in Texas
