do I need waders

I am going to be hunting ducks mainly with a canoe. The marsh is 2-4ft. of water. Would it be wise to have waders also? If so, should I use chest or hip waders? I have tried a couple of pairs of chest waders and the buckles always seem to be right where I shoulder my shotgun!

If you hunting out of a canoe , you need waders , a tight belt , life jacket and a change of clothes...scuba gear is optional...lol

lol discudad. Murphy's Law-anything that can go wrong,WILL go wrong.
I have many experiences with that law and there isn't too many exceptions. I would go with Cabela's Ultimate Hunting Wader. The shoulder buckle is gone and its an adjustable velcro straps that are very sturdy. I paid like $160 for them and of course about 1 1/2 weeks they come on sale on $130. They may be still on sale. They have armorflex. They are a really nice wader and I love mine.

Without passion.....Why bother?
