Default Duck call question

I just bought a couple duck calls and have a problem with them. They're yellow and blue and think these colours might scare the ducks. Could I just wrap them in black hockey tape, paint 'em, open to suggestions.

Colsr is less importan than if they shine .
I lightly sand any call that is shiney.
It would not hurt to either paint or wrap in camo tape for the extra wairy birds

Camo tape works, but if you don't like that idea, check this out

I was wondering the same. I use the Primos PHAT Lady sometimes, and it had a silver middle part. I was wondering also if they notice that.

I know I'm new here but her's my two cents. My duck call of choice for the time being is a flourescent green acrylic Pure Duck with a silver band. I have hunted with all different colors of calls. I have never once thought to myself that the color of my calls kept me from killing birds. Shoot, I dont even wear a goofy face mask like most guys.
If the birds are close enough to see the color of your call, why are'nt you shooting them?
