Duck hunting has been good/Oregon

We had freezing rain Saturday but the birds were thick! I had my limit in less than 30 minutes! Mallards, widgeon and green wing teal. This is my first year with my 1 year old Lab "Dakota" aka...DUCKota. She has one of the very best noses that I have ever seen. She has found ducks that my friends have lost a day before...WHAT A DOG!

Man that's great. Have a brother that lives in Bend, Or. and just loves the place. He doesn't hunt but says there's lots of wildlife.

Dad's going out there in three days for a visit. If it's what he's looking for, just might move. Thanks for sharing the pic. Don't see any snow, heard that there is over a foot out there now.:eek:

You guys that still have season are lucky, we are in our normal deep freeze of Jan, so it wouldnt be worth having a season now but I wish it was still season, nice pics!!!

Hey DHF:KYLEN, I live in Bend Oregon. I love it here. Lots of wild life. Lots of Ducks/Geese too.
