I was just wondering how many decoys you guys have. i know i have to many its just habbit when you find them on sell to buy them. plus i want to be a guide one day

I honestly have no clue. Atleast 4 dozen mallard decoys, 2 dozen wood duck decoys, 1 dozen greenwing teal decoys, one pintail, 7 dozen goose shells, 3 dozen goose rags, and over 300 crane decoys. So whatever that ends up bein.

I have a bag that I carry in the truck all season for Quick marsh hunts 16 mallard decoys .
I have a big bag for hunting in the river 3 doz mallard .
I have my layout decoys ,6 doz mallard & divers
I have 2 doz teal decoys
the 2 spinning wing decoys
the 2 Wonder ducks

For geese I have 30 floaters
48 mag shells
12 full bodies
48 silouites
4 landers
2 kites

i've got 50 assorted mallards and blacks. one pintail that i found.

but, i rarely use more than 7, somedays 13... but thats it. some of my best hunting is with one hen mallard, walking a slow creek....jump 'em, flop her out there, call 'em back.

she's MUCH easier to carry!

interesting strategy moose. it works? I own about 2.5 doz mostly mallards some teal. Rarely set them all out though. Umm ncduckhunter are you kidding me!?!?!?

6 doz Canada floaters, 8 doz Snow floaters, 1 doz Swan floaters 1 doz Whitefront floaters, 8 doz shell Snows, 2 doz Canada full bodies, 14 doz mallard, pintail and teal, 2 doz coot, 4 doz divers, (Bluebill, and Cans. 2 Blue Herons, 3 Mojos and 2 swimmers. The floater geese are some Herters, G&H, Big foot, hand carved cork, and Avery. Almost forgot the 4 doz Outlaw canada silos. Also have about 3 doz hand made cork ducks. Used to be able to put them all out till my old partner passed away. Too many now for me to put out by myself.

I have tried to explain to my wife the necessity of getting another dozen this year to add to the 2 1/2 dozen I have and she said no!! Now you guys are making me feel bad all over again

works very good. i used to own some original "suc-ducs" the rubber dekes that you "plop" down and they fill with air. very crude. but they balled up to fit in my pockets, and worked great!

sometimes ive called small (3-12 birds) flocks back 3 or four times , it can be very productive, especially late season when the big lakes are iced up and they gotta use the creeks and streams .... give it a try!

I just have 6 doz. greenhead gear mallard decoys because i dont do much duck hunting. But I also have 225 big foot decoys.

4 dozen duck and 1 dozen geese. Most of the time I use 1 or less dozen for duck....The key is to stay mobile, if the birds go into your spread one day but not the next its time to move. If you carry too many deeks you wont feeel like moving as often .
