new goose hunter

 Want to start goose hunting but I don't have the $$$$ now for decoys. If I can hunt cut corn fields where I see them feeding on a daily basis do I need decoys to have a succcesful hunt??

jo i mentioned this in an earlier post ..... but ...... i know of a guy here that used to use black trashbags tied to stakes and would kill geese over them ..... maybe try to hook up with a local hunter or two that would let ya tag along .... gain sum knowledge and a freind or two in the process of huntin over their decoys ;)

You can try to ambush them but even 3-6 decoys is better than none!!!

:DO.K. very funny we have all had our laugh now....at my expence.:D

you could get lucky. try sitting in a spot where they enter the field a pass shoot them.

Find some old tires cut them in half and throw them ut where you have ben seeing them and sit around the tires and atleast it will bring the geese to your location. Old timers used to use tires as decoys and i bet it may still work today.
