Does anyone else take a double (Either SxS or O/U) into the duck marsh or goose field?

I use a SKB 585 waterfoweler for big ducks some times and a Baliki 20 gau o/u for teal and wood ducks

i have used an o/u before, but when the birds arent really flying well you might want to get that third shot of at the flocks that you do get to come in.

i use a 12 g. ruger red label o/u, love the quick reload and the versatility of having two chokes at once with the selector. i use mod and xtra mod, and freely switch between the 2 depending on range. i get some funny looks when i carry this pretty gun into the swamps, but what the heck. dirt washes off.

Because sometimes that third shot makes for birds in the bag.

Yup, that Martin is a sweet shooter; smooth draw, no handshock...I love it!

On a good day, I can pop the empites and get off a third and fourth shot while the birds (Geese mostly) are still within range...and we only have a two bird limit;)

Yes for puddlers I frequently take my o/u 20 Citori. Have shot thousands of rounds at skeet and doves, by far the best fitting gun I have, and also like the choke versatility. I do use my Win. model 12 for divers though. Too many opportunities can be squandered chasing cripples in that game.

I never have but am considering it. Seems like it would be much easier changing shells when Geese are coming in with a double.
