The other evening I went out to a favorite hunting spot and found one and a half boxes of empty shells scattered all over the bank and grass. You couldn't take a step w/o stepping on empties. This just made me sick. It looked like someone came out with a bag of trash and spead it out on the ground. Why must we keep making ourselves and our sport look bad. First of all, it is considered littering and is illegal. Second, it is really unethical.

If we hunters can't police ourselves then the anti's will! Please pick up your empties and other trash that you packed out into the field.

P.S. To the yahoo or yahoos that left that mess, thanks for the duck lanyard and hammer you left.

I agree with you. People that do that make me mad also. Sometimes I can't find my empty shells but I try looking for them. I pick out my empty shells because I reload them. Dont wanna pay money for hulls when I can reuse the ones I used already.

Agreed! You can't find ALL of your empties, but like 'Life's Little Instruction Book' says, 'try to leave things a little better than you found them'. Don't give the Anti's another reason/motivation for fighting against our desire to hunt!

I know what you mean . Last few years several of us have gone in after season and did a clean up . Last year we hauled out 2 truck loads of trash from 1/2 mile of dike bank . We could not beleave the PIGS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I go hunting in a public area and I cannot walk anywhere without seeing cig. boxes everwhere, and also empty shell boxes lying everywhere.
