r/c decoys

my friends and i often race r/c cars and boats. my friend made a new boat and put a gooseshell on it to make it distinctive. while we were testing it in the river by my house, geese came flying in without any calling. has anyone ever heard of any1 else using r/c decoys? i am thinking 1 or 2 will add life to the spread and pass the time easily.

I haven't heard of anyone using that method, but I thought about it a time or two. I'd probably end up playin with it rather than watchin for birds. I'm sure it would get good results. The faster the better.

i tried doing something similar. got the "waverunner" from radioshack for $30. it's a little guy riding a jetski. it has two shrowded props that work independantly, goes left right fwd and back. i took off the little guy and mounted a deke on top of the waverunner, it was top heavy. so i removed the deke and painted the toy to look like a duck (head, bill, wing and patches, etc). it's ok for making waves on a still day, but the remote doesn't have a very long range. it's worth a $30 investment.
