You need to go to the stores and/or to a outdoor show and find a call that is right for you, some calls are hard to blow and some are easy. All depends on how much air you want to put through the call. You should find a reputable call maker and he can customize one especially for you.

I believe most duck calls are under 50$ unless you go for those calls like the Sean Mann Competition calls and etc.. I prefer the Primos' Original Wench, its a double reed and it has a tuning hole to sound like a hole lotta ducks. Or if you like single reeds for big open water, the Primos' Madam has great volume.

I found some on ebay for less to nothing. Try and outdoor world catalog also. gun shops and sales are neat too. get a low tone one for the males and a high pitched one of the ladies. The boys sure do love the ladies and you can turn some heads if you do it right.

The haydels line of calls are great and most are under $50. The DR-85 is a super call.Probably $15 bucks. The new Haydel Timbercutter is based on the DR-85 but looks great too in camo. Check out www.haydels.com.
