RE: ohio waterfowl???
Carpmaster, evidently there are no duck hunters in Ohio. You mentioned Indiana. I have a son who is now in the process of moving to Lafayette Indiana and he loves to hunt ducks. Where in Indiana can he expect o find some duck hunting?

RE: ohio waterfowl???
When I hunted last year (technically this year) was Jan 2,3, and 4th the ducks were hitting corn stubble near any lakes and ponds, and the geese were all over. All of the rivers has an abundance of waterfowl, we were geiing lots of action over goose spreads in the corn fields. Finding fields that vary from others in the area is the key to success there, more than anything, we were mostly hunting hilly and funnier shaped fields opposed to square and flat fields it just seemed to draw the birds better. Our spread consisted of 8 bigfoots, 12 silouhettes, 3 super mag shells, 6 mag shells, 6 mallards and a few other dekes.
