I'm Back...but in Iowa!

Finallt settled in here in Iowa and got computer access again. Have been scouting between Iowa City and Des Moines aand have been finding promising groups of geese. Buddies and I are planning on coming back out to hunt them around first of Nov. Any tips or info about the area would be cool. Just wanted to get on here and hear from you guys after a month I was already missing the site!!

Welcome to Iowa! I live in the extreme northwest corner. I hunt ducks and geese near Okoboji.

Last year was very disappointing. It was very dry. We didn't see as many ducks as we did hunters. Hopefully this year things will be better since the rain should help fill the potholes.
