Default O/U and SxS on Geese

Other than me is there any other Goose Busters who shoot em with an over and under or a side by side? I dont run across many who do. Let me know what you shoot, and what load you use this time of year. I put bbb in the top and 2's in the bottom. {3"}

LETS GO SHOOT SUM FEATHERS

My old man uses a old fox from time to time...I own a "century" over and under...It is a poor mans u/o but it does do the job...It chambers 3 1/2" shells using a 28" barrel. But to be honest with you...I do like that extra shell in t he gun...even if it is just for back up!!

When I use an O/U, sometimes I use modified in both barrels with BB's in both to make shell selection simple. If I use improved cylinder in the 1st barrel, I use 1's, then a BB. I have been using Kent 1 1/8 oz shells. I use BBB almost exclusively in my 10 gauge, but with the 2 shooter, the geese are still usually within 40 yards on the 2nd shot. With 3 shots, the 3rd shot can be over 50 yards, so the larger shot helps in this case, but I would rather not push the larger shot thru the over/under barrels even though it is supposed to be ok.

I shot O/U for the last couple years using 3 1/2" #2 with Mod. chokes in both barrels. But bought a Browning 10 gage this year.

I used a 12 gauge citori for years, a Turkish 10 gauge that weighed 10 pounds that was hell on crossing shots (couldn't stop) but just could not catch up on rising birds. A 10 gauge BPS that I hardly ever hit anything and Rem & beretta single bbls after that. But the Citori was a real waterfowl killer.

I shot a richardson arms side by side 10ga. 32in barrels. It is my goose and late season duck gun BB for geese and #2 for ducks. I have had alot of people tell me to get a 3 1/2in 12 but i love my 10 even though it weighs in at 12 pounds
