Buck*

I would love it. I used to own a cabin on Lake Wister. Had to sell it earlier last year when my wife was diagnosed with cancer. Hated to do it but we needed to free up the money. Kids private school, cancer treatment and loss of income from her will catch up with ya fast!

I loved chasing those whitetails with my bow and the ducks were plentifull.

Keep me posted, especially if the geese move in. I'm up for the drive!

Hey TX,
You are the man. I'm sure the young duck hunters are very appreciative of your giving.
Sorry to hear about that nasty disease cancer in your family. I know what it's like. Lost my father to that disease.

God Bless and Happy Hunting.

Thanks DoeCuller for the kind words.

Buck* theres a conservation order in effect until late March on light fronted geese. Increaded daily bag, can use electronic calls and no plugs in your gun......

Hey Txbow, you said in your last post light fronted geese were open in the conservation order. Are you sure that it isn't just light geese? That is what the Conservation order is about up here, just light geese which are snow/blue and Ross geese. Ours is open now Feb 1 to May 15 but with a foot and a half of snow and everything frozen we don't look for them to return for at least a month yet. Well anyway good luck to you.
