remington 870's and federals?

remington 870's and federals?

Anyone have problems mixing these two? We have 2 12 gauge 870 super mags that wont eject federals. I think so does Critch, anyone else?

Yup, thats par for the course....Federal and Remington don't mix well.

we talked to a federal rep at some show thinger whatever at bass pro shops and he said he had heard of it, but didnt seem to know anything else about it.

This post got my attention right away! My 870 doesn't like some cheap low brass shells. The Federal turkey shells pattern extremely well out of my SPS, but the Federal steel waterfowl shells are horrible. Go figure.

my brother shoots federals out of his 870 all the time he had no problems,until he bought a box of 3" t's they jammed all the time so i tried them in my 835 mossberg and they jammed in mine also.i have always had good luck with federals. just that one box of t's.
