i am making my first trip to arkansas the first of january will the ducks be flying? im not exactly sure where im going it was supposed to be a suprise christmas gift but one of the other guys going "accidently" told me

For the past few years January's season has been the best time for ducks here in Arkansas...they usually seem not to make it down here til the end of our duck season. I know some people who are killing ducks right now, but you should be fine come January...

if you head down this way, youre best bet is somewhere in eastern or southern arkansas.. visit www.agfc.com to check out the weekly waterfowl reports... any ideas of the region that you will be hunting??
