My Tongue Don't Work???
 

Guys, I think my tongues broken. I've been doing everything possible trying to blow a good feeding call. My tongue just ain't moving fast enough or something. What can I do? Any help is appreciated!!!

This may sound strange, but it's true. If you smoke and/or drink lots of coffee in the morning it affects the muscles, including those in your tongue. It actually retards the movement (speed) of your tongue.
I speak from experience. By about noon my early-morning feeder call sounds more like rrrrrr, rrrrrr, rrrrrr, rrrrrr.
Was there a study done on this? Don't know. That's what happens to me!
Told ya it may sound strange.

You may try buying that hand shaker feeding call thingy...

Not sure who makes it, but it's not bad expensive, and sounds alright...

It looks like a turkey gobbler tube but it's for ducks...

Thanks for the help fellas, but I think I'm getting it. I found a way to make my tongue move faster. I had to exercise it. I can't get into details on here but just use your imagination lol lol

Some people just can't do it. It's as simple as that. They do make duck calls for people who can not blow the feeder call. I think primos and quaker makes them. They're rather long and kinda look like somthing you woulnd't use for duck hunting but you shake them and they make a very real feeder call. I got one for the wife since she can't blow a feeder call either and she uses it alot with good luck. I've also been blowing my duck call and using the feeder call call at the same time to sound like a couple other birds when I'm by myself. Just somthing to think about.
