Favorite Duck Call??????

Whats ya'll favorite duck call? I have several, and all work fine, but I prefer one by Haydel, the DR 85 double ree mallard call. I also use two by the Duck Commander, the Mule and the Classic. Just looking for different opinions? And whats the difference between using double and single reeds?

My favorite duck call depends on the situation I'm in. Large bodies of water I usually blow my Echo Championship. In close, I like the DR 85 as you mentioned as well as my Banfield's Best and Primos Original Wench. Double reeds represent more ducks, and in my opinion, are a tad easier to represent a true duck sound for inexperienced callers, whereas single reeds roll over into feed calls easier and sound more convincing for "good" callers.

The Dr-85 is a good call but I prefer the Olt Dr-115 and D-2.

Just got a double reed winglok 2 days ago. Although I'm new to the dbl reed, it's been getting better sounding and easier to use by the hour. By the time next season rolls around those ducks are going to be in real big trouble.

My favorite is a TaylorMade Cocobola/Acrylic. When Alvin died a few years back I tried to retire the call, got a BigGuysBest Sweetalker that I really like but it sticks like crazy. Can't give up the TaylorMade. RARELY if ever sticks and always sounds good.

I had a BigGuys best also. It kept sticking like yours so after fighting it a while I threw it in the slough I was hunting. In my opinion they are an over priced piece of junk. I have some goodDuck Commander calls, Primos, Haydel and Faulk also a Johnny Stewart which I don't believe is being made anymore.
