Planting for wood ducks
 
I have a rice field and i drain it every year. I plan on planting around my blind. What should i plant and when. Would like rice or some biologic work. what do you susgest

Ive always found alot of crabapples in woodducks.

If it's your land start as many pin-oaks as possible on it and while waiting for them to grow, rice and jap millit will do the trick.

Oak trees are the key for wood ducks. But if you have rice, keep rice and shoot mallards! Look on old river beds, sloughs, and a creeks for woodies.
