I'm jazzed and had to post because it's not often here in North Texas that you can knock on someones door and secure promission with a smile and a handshake. Everything here is either off limits because some person screwed up in the past or it's leased out for big bucks.

Anyway, I secured a new hunting spot this weekend that shows alot of promise. I've hunted near this place for the last 2.5 years and have seen lots of birds drop in there. It's the perfect set up. It's got two feeder ponds, ones about 6 acres and the other is about 7 acres. They are about 100 yards apart and are surrounded by cut grain and/or recently planted fields. They sit in a small valley and have ample cover both between them and around their edges. I'm going to set up this week sometime and should do really well.
