Default Anyone use cow board for snows??

I'm looking for an example of a better cow board to use for hunting snows. We made one but it doesn't fit well in the back of a pickup and then try getting a dog in there also. If anyone has one that folds, let me know on how to keep it from folding up while using it?

why dont u just put hinges on it like you would a door? That way you could get it to fold for you.

We did but then trying to keep the thing from folding up especially in a strong wind is a pain!! So looking for simply ideas to hinge it and yet lock it so it doesn't fold up, like on fingers and such.

It was a good idea, and vaery rarely is anymore. When you post it in a magazine, more people do it and that makes the geese more aware of anything approaching.

Use the hinges, and put a little piece of wood above the hinge so that u can spin the wood so that it overlaps both pieces to keep it from moving in the wind, do the same for the front. Just my .02

Made one out of conduit covered with burlap, hinged in the middle, with conduit pieces on opposite sides with a wire in the middle that pulls up to fold. Understand?
