What species do they band?
 
Does anyone know what type of ducks (ie:mallards, pintail, etc.) are banded? A buddy of mine said that he heard they don't band all duck species and wanted to know if I knew anything about it.

I didn't know the answer and thought I'd ask you pro's!

I think they band all the ducks they catch in their nets........may be wrong though.

I have shot banded Canada, Snow, Whitefront, Mallard, Pintail, BW teal, Canvasback, Redhead, so I'm pretty sure they band about everything. Oh yes Woodducks too.

Ive shot widgeon and hooded meganser with bands so add those to the list
