Any birds moving through Midwest?

Has this latest cold front pushed any birds into the midwest (especially Illinois or Indiana)? We open in KY this Thursday:D (Thanksgiving day) so the weather may actually be working in our favor for once. This past weekend was the end of our deer firearms season and it was windy and 70 degrees.:( I would like to here from some of the guys north of here just so I can know what to expect.
Thanks

Wakenda, MO. 11/17-23...

4-5 guns/day and bagged 142 ducks (90% mallards) and 9 geese. Birds moving on this front in a BIG way! Got buddies out this AM near Branson. Will update when I get a report.

Thanks for the info. Saw quite a few ducks on the opener (thursday) but we have a ton of floodwater in the area I was hunting (ohio river bottoms) and the birds are real spread out.

Portable Ladder-- I have only hunted ducks, and have only been hunting them for a few years now. I know there is quite a bit of goose action depending on the weather on the Sloughs public area just outside of Henderson. They have a large refuge with limited hunting around it (predrawn hunts with stand-ins allowed if the blinds are not occupied by 30 minutes before shooting hours) and quite a few first-come first-served blinds on other tracts. Much of it is directly across the river from Hovey Lake if you are familiar with that area. You can find more info on the KDFW website. Good luck in Illinois.

Yellow Lab- Hate it for you that you guys are frozen up, but that is the best way for us to get the birds down here. Hope you left a few for us good ole boys down south. Good luck in 10 mo's.

Yea yellowlabman another 10 months then another season. But thats to long away :(. A month before closing at Horicon marsh it was freezing already, and with the strong winds we had for two days. I gave up til next season. Almost all ducks are out of S.E Wisconsin.

I'm hitting the water in the morning here. The latest cold front has moved some new birds into our area. Hopefully, they'll keep on comming!
